UPPGMET
UPPGMET is an Uttar Pradesh post graduate medical entrance test. Utter Pradesh conduct the examination for the admission to MS, MD, MDS and PG diploma. The examination is conducted in following medical college of UP state Meerut, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Agra. Uttar Pradesh unaided medical colleges welfare association has invites application for medical entrance test. It is popularly known as UPPGMET. All India student get admission after giving this entrance test 615 seats are available for the admission of all post graduate medical college.
Eligibility for UPPGMET entrance exam:
The candidate must complete MBBS course from recognized by medical council of India. The student must complete internship before giving entrance examination. For NRI student the above mentioned criteria approved by medical council of India. 50 per cent marks are cut off pass percentage and 40 per cent marks for ST, SC and OBC.
Admission procedure:
Candidate gets admission form from their official website. The application form can be filled online or download the application form from website and submit the form with following document Xerox copy of MBBS mark sheet, internship completion certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheet, caste certificate for ST SC and OBC candidate and four photographs.
General Information:
The entrance examination is conducted in month of March and the time of examination is 3 pm to 6pm. The examination paper contain 250 objective types multiple choice question and the exam has negative marking system. The entrance examination is consisting of 500 marks and writes the answer only in black ball point pen. If any candidate gets equal percentage marks the rank of that candidate shall be determined on the basis of birth date and higher age will be placed higher merit. The entrance examination is conducted in March month and result is declared in April month.
