Maharashtra MH CET Entrance Exam
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) is conducted by the directorate of Technical Education. It is conducted to get into Health, Science, Engineering and Pharmacy Degree courses. Maharashtra educational board has appointed some Competent Authority for MH CET for every stream.

MH CET exam Centers:
MH CET exams are generally, conducted at the district headquarter of state of Maharashtra. This exam is conducted on the same proximity where the candidate has passed or appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. HSC also known as 12th standard. Student from outside Maharashtra state, competent authority allot the examination center.

Students who has passed their HSC examination from any institution outside Maharashtra state, it is mandatory that the institution must be from any district or headquarter from divisional authority from where the student has submitted MH CET exam application form. Once the center is allotted by the authority to any students cannot be changed.

MH CET Test Design:
The MH CET entrance exam consist of three subject Physics and Chemistry (50 marks), Biology (50 marks) and Mathematics (100 marks).  It is mandatory that all the questions should be solved, there will be no options.  
If the student wants to appear for Health Science course then he/she should appear for Physics & Chemistry and Biology.  The candidate who wants to pursue Engineering course then should appear for physics and Chemistry and Mathematics.

Eligibility for MH CET:
1) The candidate must be from Indian Nationality. NRI and Overseas citizen of India are not allowed to seat.
2) The candidate must be mentally and physically fit and should submit the doctor certificate of being medically fit.
3) Student must have passed his/her SSC and HSC exam from institution that is within Maharashtra.
4) Candidate who wants to pursue Ayuverda and Unani course, then the candidate must born before or on 1st October 1993.
