JNU M.Phil/PhD Entrance Exam
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) one of the prestigious and recognized universities in India offers M.Phil and PhD course for students. It offers students with good facilities and learning experience. The M.Phil/PhD course is categorized in three parts according to which students have to take up this course. JNU is an approved university by Government of India and AICTE and there are many colleges in Delhi are affiliated to JNU.
Eligibility:
• Candidate who wants to take up M.Phil/ PhD course from JNU should be degree pas out with at least 60% from any recognized university.
• It is compulsory that students should have taken up PCM subjects and Maths in degree level.
• Candidate must be Indian and should not be more than 25yrs of age.
Examination Pattern:
Candidate appearing for the M.Phil/ PhD entrance exam have to answer objective type multiple questions. The entire questions are based on PCM subjects.
Application Procedure:
The admission procedure is divided into 3 categories:
Category A: It is done through entrance exam subjects like M.Phil/PhD, M.Tech/PhD and B.A (Hons) in Foreign Language.
Category B: Direct Admission in PhD Program in the entire institute affiliated to JNU except the School of Life Science. Admission is done through written exam and viva-voce.
Category C: MPhil/Pre-PhD in Science School on the basis of the written exam or viva-voca.
The application form can be obtained from university counter or through post by paying some amount of cash through DD from any nationalized bank under the favor of Registrar of JNU.
