Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET)
Goa Common Entrance Test is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa. This test is conducted for those students who want to seek admission in bachelor degree course in medicine, Engineering, Architecture, and Dentistry which is provided by private/aided and unaided colleges in Goa.

Eligibility: 
Students who want to pursue admission in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS should have pass 10+2 from any recognized colleges of Goa with at least 50 % marks in Biology, Physics and chemistry with English subject. Students from SC/ST and OBC should pass with 40% marks. Students who want to pursue Bachelors of Engineering (BE), then student should pass with minimum 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics.

Examination Pattern:
GCET is the only exam by which students can seek admission for UG course like MBBS, BDS, BHMS and other medicinal courses. The question paper is seperated in five sections:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
Biology
Computer Science
There will be no negative marks for wrong answer and carry one mark for every answer. The candidate must appear for various subjects as per preferred subject.  The duration of the exam is of 2 hrs.

Application Procedure: 
Students who want to take admission for courses in Architecture will be on the basis of NATA and as per the eligibility. The prospectus for the courses can be taken from the selected branches of Syndicate Bank and also at Goa Education Development Corporation DIET Hostel Building and other designated places.
Students who are form other state can take the application form and prospectus by sending DD of Rs 300/-. Candidates can only able to appear for exam if they have studied and registered themselves for HSSC exam.
