AP EDCET Date Application Form Exam Pattern Download Eligibility

Education Common Entrance Test  (ED.CET) by Andhra Pradesh

Educations Common Entrance Test is conducted by Andhra Pradesh for students who  want pursue admission in B.Ed regular course. ED.CET is conducted under the  guidance of APSCHE, Hyderabad.  This entrance test is mandatory for students to get into B.Ed course

Eligibility: 
Students who want to pursue B.ED course from ED.CET exam, then the students must pass their degree course from any field B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/B.C.A  with at least 50% from any recognized university.  Students who are appearing for the final exam test can also appear for the test.
 
Students  who are belonging to the reserved categories should get atleast 40% in the bachelor’s degree from any recognized  university.
Students who are appearing for this test should more than 37 mark out of total marks. But for students who belong to SC/ST category there will be no qualifying marks.
Students who want to appear for the exam should not be less than in age of 17years.

Application Form: 
 The application form can be taken from any post office or from university itself, e-seva  centers in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur with the cash payment of Rs 150/-. The application form can also be taken from university website.

Admission Procedure:
Apart from ED.CET test, the students also have to undergo personal interview and also the academic background of the students.

Exam Pattern :
There are negative marking in the exam for incorrect answers.  Negative marking is for subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The syllabus of the subject is according to the subject test that students are going to appear for.
