Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 

Uttarakhand conduct Uttarakhand post Graduate Medical Entrance examination. Uttarakhand is one of the states which have high rate literacy. Most of the national importance colleges are situated in Uttarakhand.  The entrance examination is also known as UPGMEE. With the help of entrance examination the university gives admission to the following courses MS, MD, and Diploma courses. Uttarakhand has following colleges dental, homeopathic, Ayurvedic and allopathic colleges.

Eligibility criteria for entrance examination:

The entrance examination opens to those candidates who have passed MBBS examination form Uttarakhand.  Candidate must complete HSC or equivalent in Physics, chemistry, English and biology with minimum 50 % marks. For ST, SC and OBC candidate 40 % marks. Candidate gets admission through examination not through management quota. 15 % quota is available for other state candidate.

Admission procedure:

Candidate gets application form and information broacher from their official website www.kunanital.in and submit downloaded form before the due date of submission. Submit the form in month of May 2011. Downloaded application form sent to the following address secretary UCEE, SDCH, Veerbhadra road, Pashulok, Rishikesh-249203, Uttarakhand, Tel 0135-2452962, 09639630803.

General Information:

The Uttarakhand offers following courses DCP,D. Ortho., DCH, DGO, MS (Ophthalmology), MD (Anesthesiology), MD (Radio diagnosis), MS (Orthopedics), MS (Uoto Erno Leringology), MD (Pediatrics), MS (Abos. and Gyne), MS (General Surgery), MD (General Medicine), MD (Pathology), MD (Microbiology), MD (Pharmacology), MD(Physiology), MS (Anatomy). The application form of entrance examination and brochure are available from February 2011, theselling of application form is available till in month of MAY 2011. The written examination is conducted in month May 2011. The centers of examination are as follows Varanasi, Lucknow, Jodhpur, Delhi, Dehradun and Chandigarh. If the candidates are already attending previous counseling those candidates are requested to bring the registration slip and document for verification.
