SMIT MCA Entrance Exam
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) conducts MCA entrance exam under the guidance of Sikkim Manipal University. Students who want to pursue MCA course have to undergo SMIT entrance exam which is specially conducts MCA exam. Apart from MCA course it also offers 4 year B.Tech course also 5 year B.Tech and MBA course. The entrance exam is purely based on the AIEEE, SMU UGET and SAT entrance exam.
Eligibility:
Students who want to pursue MCA course should be passed out from 10+2+3 with at least 55% in graduation level from any recognized university. Mathematics or Statistics is mandatory in secondary level. Students who are currently in the final year exam can also apply for the SMIT MCA entrance exam. Those students who are passed out in the diploma course in Engineering with at least 50% are eligible for the exam.
Application Procedure:
Students can download the application form from the institute website and send the duly filled form with DD of Rs 500/- under the favor of Sikkim Manipal University. The application form can also be taken from the university counter and send the duly filled formed with the DD of Rs 500/- in the favor of Sikkim University.
Examination Pattern:
The exam is fully objective type with multiple questions. There are total 240 question that are being asked from which 80 questions are from Mathematics, 60 questions are from Physics, 60 questions are from Chemistry and 40 questions are form General Aptitude.
