Pune University MCA Entrance Test
Pune University which is situated in Maharashtra conducts MCA entrance exam for students who want to pursue MCA course after degree course. It is a full time course that is conducted under the Department of Computer Science.
Eligibility:
Students who want to pursue MCA course should be pass bachelors degree from science stream with at least 55% from any recognized university. Students should also be BCA pass with Mathematics in 10+2.
Application Procedure:
Students who want to pursue MCA course from pune university can obtained application form from university by sending DD of Rs 575/- and for general category it is Rs 475/-in the favor of Registrar and the DD should be from any nationalized bank. The application form can also be downloaded or submitted from university site www.unipune.ernet.in/doc/admissions.html .
Syllabus:
The paper pattern for MCA exam consist of multiple choice questions that are asked from Mathematics, general aptitude syllabus for Maths is Trigonometry, Integral Calculus and Elementary Probability Theory.
Exam Centers:
MCA entrance exam are conducted in some cities of Maharashtra and outside of this state. In Maharashtra, they are Mumbai, Pune, Ahmadabad, Nashik, Kolhapur and Jalgoan. Apart from this places where this exam is conducted are Delhi, Hyderabad and Allahabad.
Reservation for the Seats:
50% of seats are being reserved for Maharashtra students SC/ST/DT/NT and OBC and 3% for PH.
