AMU MCA Entrance Exam

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts entrance exam for those students who want to pursue MCA course. MCA course is of 3 years and it can be done on the basis of combined admission test (CAT).

Eligibility:

Students who want pursue MCA course from AMU should pass B.Tech/B.Arch/B.E with at least 55% or any equivalent to it from any recognized university.  Students from Science background should have Maths with Stats, Physics, Computer Application or IT in their graduation level.  Apart from this subject the student must also be studied Maths and Physics in Secondary level or equivalent to it.

Exam Pattern:

The MCA entrance exam carries for 2 hrs where 100 questions are being asked in the paper. From this 50 questions are from Maths and Stats, 20 questions are from Physics, 20 questions are from Computer Science and 10 questions from Logical ability.

Application Procedure:

The application form for the entrance exam can be taken by requesting the form to the university by sending DD of Rs 50/- which is drawn in favor of Finance Officer of AMU. The payment for the form can also be done in the university counter.

After filling the form submit it with the DD of Rs 250/- to officer of AMU. Student must write the course name clearly in the envelope.
